INVESTMENT

The CRAFTRUDER 3D construction printer forms the basis of a new-generation automated mini-plant for the production of concrete products.

The investment required to launch production starts at US$50,000, depending on the equipment configuration and the scale of the project.

The estimated payback period depends on the chosen business model, production capacity utilisation and sales volumes, and is typically between 12 and 24 months.

The actual payback period is determined individually for each project and may be shorter in the event of high demand, intensive production and rapid sales of finished products.

What is included in the price of the X2 3D construction printer
  1. Printer, software licence pack, control cabinet, dual extruder module for 2 print heads + single extruder module, certificate of conformity, user manual (in electronic format), transport packaging for the printer, 2 containers for transporting concrete mix (200 l capacity).
  2. Training at our production facility.
  3. Transfer of core production technology and formulations.
  4. Recommendations on selecting the right mix for local materials.
  5. Remote technical support during the initial phase.
  6. On-site support for commissioning, installation supervision and start-up work at the customer’s site (within Ukraine).

Technical Specifications of the 3D Construction Printer CRAFTRUDER X2


Requirements for a facility designed for year-round 3D concrete printing

  • Area: 250–300 m² for a 12×8 m printer, including storage areas for cement and rebar and an open area for finished products.
    For 1 print head, it is ideal to have approximately 12 running meters of longitudinal printing path;
    for 2 heads—approximately 24 m;
    for 4 heads—approximately 48 m.

    • Access / logistics: paved access roads for large-sized vehicles.
    • Power supply: 50 kW or more.
    • Water supply: ≈1 m³ of water per shift.
    • Climate: When the workshop temperature is consistently above 7 °C, operation is possible even without underfloor heating. In certain configurations, underfloor heating significantly improves production cycle times and product quality.
    • Height: ceiling height of 3 m or more (optimal).
    • Floor: preferably level, but perfect levelness is not required (the printer prints its own base for the blocks).
    • Material handling equipment: forklift (forks / bucket).
    • Overhead crane: not required for small-batch blocks up to 60 kg; required if large prefab wall segments are planned.

ABOUT US

CRAFTRUDER (since 2018) is one of the pioneers of the Ukrainian 3D concrete printing industry and a manufacturer of 3D construction printers. Founded on the basis of the engineering company CONCRETE-FLOW in Dnipro, the company has evolved from modernizing its first prototype to creating its own technological platform for the mass production of concrete products using 3D printing.

The first commercial projects focused on the production of artisanal concrete fences and landscaping elements. Subsequently, technological advancements enabled the company to move on to creating full-fledged construction systems and next-generation structures.

Over the years, we have completed over 1,000 projects and commissions. Among our landmark projects are the Alley of Remembrance for Heroes in Petrykivka, featuring over 120 memorial steles and a 7-meter bell tower, as well as three residential buildings in Uzhhorod, constructed using our own 3D-printed concrete blocks. A new residential project in Lviv is scheduled for 2026.

CRAFTRUDER develops not only equipment but also a comprehensive construction system adapted to its own production technology. The company is actively expanding its international presence through equipment supply and the development of partnership projects in various countries.
